Funny bumps

hi Doc

My daughter is two years old and has these funny bumps on the neck behind the years. It looks like it is growing and it does not seem to be painful. She has had them for a while. I thought initialy that its one of those baby things, it will go away, but its not going away and its getting bigger. What could that be?

Paediatrician

These are lymph glands which are very common at this age. The usual cause is a previous ear or a scalp infection. The glands take a long time to disappear. If they are very large and seem to be growing bigger then it is best for your little girl to be seen by a GP or paediatrician.
