You can certainly give your one year old son NAN3. A full cream milk is the regular dairy milk that has not had any of the milk fat removed such as is found with skim milk or with the 2% milk. You can change your son to the regular full cream cow's milk when he is 15 months.

From a year old, babies not breastfed no longer need formula but can have normal cows milk, but full cream must be used, not low fat. Full cream means that the fat content hasn''t been lowered to 2% or to skim, its left in the milk.
You don''t need Nan 3 or Nespray - these are just marketing gimmicks. The reason you can''t give cows milk as a breast milk substitute before age 1 is that the protein content is too high and babies kidneys can''t cope with it and also because it doesn''t have sufficient nutrients, so formula is made which is modified cows milk with nutrients added. After a year, babies kidneys can cope with the protein content, and solid food is babies main source of nutrition so they don''t need the extra things added to the formula, they can get it from their food. Obviously if one is breastfeeding its best to continue doing so after a year as these additional nutrients are good for the baby, but formula is not providing this same goodness so there is no reason to continue with it.
