Q.

Frequent urination

Hi, My six year old son goes to the loo at least every half hour.He does drink lots of water trough out the day. But even his teacher has notice and i dnt feel its normal. He wakes up at least twice during the night to pee, even if he has not had anything to drink. He is also always very thirsty. I have taken him to the GP to check for any infection in his bladder and there was none. he also said that if we want we should take him for more test to check for diabetes. Do i have reason to be concerned?

Yes this is of concern. Your son definitely has the main symptoms of diabetes in children. He should have more accurate tests done to be sure as to whether he has diabetes or not. It would best to take him to see a paediatrician.
