frequent urination

my daughter is 7 years old and frequently goes to the toilet. when she urinates she says that it burns and she needs to wipe herself twice because the urine drips after she has wiped herself. she even changes her underwear after every visit to the loo because of the dripping. she goes very often at home but tries not to go at school. she drinks a lot of water and does not have cool drinks or juices. what could be the problem?

Your daughter almost certainly has a bladder infection. Please take her to be seen and treated by a doctor or clinic nurse. Her urine must be tested.

Hi Cheryl

Ag Shame, that must be horrible... It sounds like urinary track infection - the best would be citro soda - which would seem to work immediatly, but keep on using for about two days, to get clean the whole bladder... eno''s also would do the trick.... My girl suffors from it alot and if it persists contact you GP it could also be kidney infection
