Q.

Formula Milk

I have posting as I''m a confused and a desperate parent. I''ve been using the NAN LF as advised for LB but he has a fine rash on his face and I took him to the dr. The dr was angry with me as he said I should n''t have changed him from Isomil that was constipating him. They did blood test, awaiting for the results in the mean time I gave him the Isomil again. This time he doesn''t want it at all, he has been drinking water yesterday afternoon. I gave him 100ml of rooibos this morning he dranked it. He is 5 1/2 months. He eats his cereal in the morning, vegies of fruit purity in the day and his cereal again in the evening. I am concerned as the results will only get in 2 to 3 weeks time and in the mean time he is not drinking milk properly. Also is there a need for calsuba?

Please put your baby back on the NAN LF until you receive the test results. The usual time it takes to get these result is no more than 1 or 2 days, not 3 weeks! Please phone your doctor tomorrow and ask if the results are back. Your baby's rash may not be due to an allergy. He needs to be on his formula and you cannot leave milk out of your baby's diet now.
