Formula Milk

My daughter is 4 weeks old. When she was a week old we took her to her paediatrician as she was crying nearly every night from about 8pm - 4am. The paediatrician said she has silent reflux and we should feed her Nan AR at night and her normal Nan during the day. I tried it that way but didnt see an improvement. I now have her on Nan AR all day, but there still seems to be something bothering her. She battles to sleep during the day and if I put her down in her cot she will either wake up immediately and cry or take about 5 minutes to wake and cry. Pick her up and she stops crying. She also seems very hungry and doesnt seem full after drinking 135ml. Is this normal? Is it ok to put her on normal Nan during the day and Nan AR at night or will this confuse her digestive system?

Your daughter has two problems; she is hungry and she still has reflux. The NAN AR does not seem to satisfy her. She will need to start on treatment to stop the stomach acid which is making her so restless. She must see the paediatrician again. Once on the correct medicine she will be able to go onto a regular formula such as NAN1 again.
