There are many excellent choices. NAN 1, Novalac 1 and Infacare 1 are all popular and excellent formulas.

Thank you very much ladies. Yes the best choice is breastfeeding but there should be plan B just in case. A big thank you to the Dr also. I appreciate it.

Racoon it is best to prepare for the chance that you maybe cant breastfeed - I wanted to and never considered that i couldnt, until absolutely no milk came in. I only had colostum - and i have no bottles, forumula and worse still no idea on what to do so breastmilk isnt the only option - all preggie mothers need to know their choices.
My lg was on nan1 from birth and she was absolutely fine!!

Please try breastfeeding!! it will save you about R1000 per month, and is ofcourse best for you baby. It is also very rewarding and nearly as much effort as having to wash and sterilize bottles day and night. Key to breastfeeding success is to visit the local breastfeeding clinic each week. Good luck!!
