Q.

formula,

Hi

My baby boy is 10 weeks. He weighs 6.5kg and has been on formula for 7 weeks. I started off with Nan and have now gone onto Lactogen, as this is supposed to help with hungrier babies. The last 2 days, he does not seem to want to take his full feed. I am doing 4 feeds of 150 ml during the day. then i wake him at 10pm and he takes 100ml if i am lucky and then he wakes around 2 and i give him 100ml - he usually wants more, but i don' t want to get him used to feeding too much at night.

what routine would you suggest, he should be taking more milk, due to his weight. Please advise.

Your son's weight is well above the average for his age.He needs about 140ml per kilogram weight per day. He seems to be taking very close to that and the Lactogen is obviously making him feel nice a full. There does not appear to be any cause for concern.
