Q.

Follow up EEG?

When my daughter was 16 months old she had an EEG and was diagnosed with epilepsy! She was on Epilim and after 6 months another EEG was done and was normal, then we stopped the medicine. She is 4 and a half years now and is still okay, she is just a very nervous little girl that when nervous start shivering and she can also get very aggresive at times towards her sister that is 6 years old. I just want to know is it still needed to take her for follow up EEG' s or not? If she gets fever and is sick she still gets that tremor in her little body?

You know that her EEG is now normal. The fact that she is rather nervous and aggressive at times is not due to epilepsy. If you are concerned about her it may be worthwhile seeing a child psychologist.
