Q.

Flying

I have a very active 16 month old little boy. We are flying to Cape Town on Thursday and I was wondering if you could suggest anything that I could give him to calm him down a bit during the flight?

No sedatives should be given and in any case these are not permitted in children under 2 years of age. Keep him busy on the plane. It is a short flight. Allow him to suck on a bottle during the descent and landing.

The flight time is rather short.

You will survive lol

I just buy a few new toys beforehand and only give it my boy once we are on the plane. that keeps him busy for some time.
Other than that, there isn' t much you can do.

Good luck!
