Q.

Flu vaccination for almost 1 year old

Hi there
My baby is turning 1 on 28 April. I would like to give her the flu vaccination, but the Clinic sister at the Pharmacy said that she will not give it to babies. I was under the impression that it is safe to give after 6 months of age?
Do you think it is advisable to give her the flu vaccine?
Thank you,
Tracey

The annual flu vaccine is recommended from the age of 6 months onwards, so your baby can have the vaccine. The amount is reduced for babies [0.25ml]
