Flea Bites

Good day Doc,

My babygirl is 2 years old and now that is is summer she has been getting a lot of flea bites on her body. I don''t have animals but we stay in a flat with a lot of people having cats &  dogs around us. I definitely know it is flea bites because I caught the bugger on my bed last night. What can I use on the flea bites and to prevent futher bites?
Thank you.

This is not an easy question to answer. You do need to try to get rid of any fleas in your flat. You may need to have the flat fumigated. You do not have any pets so that is helpful.Apply calamine lotion to your little girl's flea bites at least twice daily. Give her a good mulivitamin syrup which must contain Vitamin B1 [look on the label] daily for at least 3 months. This will eventually make her less likely to be bitten by fleas.

mylocort cream gets rid of the bumps. Sprinkle some baby powder in her bed and on her after bath time.
