It is very possible that your son has a problem called papaular urticaria. This is an allergy to flea bites. The bite marks are very difficult to treat. You can try a mild cortisone ointment such as Mylocort applied only once daily. If this does not help then simply apply calamine lotion to to the bite marks. It will help if you give him a Vitamin B Complex supplement for 3 months. Speak to your pharmacist.Your son will grow out of this allergy to flea bites but this may take several years before he is over this allergy.
