Q.

Fish

I was just curious as to when it is suggested that you introduce your baby to fish. So far, the only meat I have given my little on is chicken. I was hoping to try another meat like beef next and I was also curious about fish. I understand that pork should not be given just yet (she is 7 and a half months old)
Also, what kinds of fish are best and which ones should I avoid? I heard that some fish (such as tuna) contain mercury and this isn''t good for babies.

Thank you!

It is best to wait until your baby is 12 months old before introducing fish. Hake is a popular and safe choice for fish when you do start giving her fish.Lamb is a good first choice as a meat for your baby.
