fine rash on baby''s face

My 15 month old has a fine rash all over his face and up his forehead. Not particularly red, but definitely pink fine pimples on the cheeks and forehead. No fever just a slightly congested nose at night (not sure this is related as the nose is so insignificant).
Just a note, he had his MMR shot at the clinic on the 6th April. The nurse told me that he would perhaps have a reaction approximately 10 days later, but the rash appeared about 14 days after the shot. Could it still be a reaction to the shot, or could it be german measles? He has no fever, he''s happy and bouncy, drinking and eating well. Just this rash!

This does sound like the rash that may occasionally occur after the MMR immunization. The rash should disappear after two to three days.Your son seems to be well and happy so should soon be clear of this rash. No treatment is required.
