Q.

Fever meds

My 8 month old baby had a fever (turned out to be Roseola) and I wanted to give her Calpol or Panado. Someone then said that Calpol and Panado doesn' t work, I should rather use Nurofen. I tried that and it worked really well for the fever, but it made her disoriented so she kept on falling over and bumping her head when crawling or sitting. I future I would rather just give Calpol or Panado. What is your opinion on this?

You are correct and nothing but Panado or Calpol should be used for fever in young babies.Even with these medicines it is essential to be sure to give the correct dose.
