fever for four days

Hi, my daughter (2 and a half) has had fever for 4 days now, runny nose (not green) but not otherwise ill and her happy normal self. I''m giving her ponstan /panado which always brings fever down quickly. Should I take her to paed as I''m worried about a fever that lasts so long? I wanted to see if she''d get better without antibiotics as she''s had 2 courses in the last 6 weeks (one for bronchitis then for sinusitis).I look forward to hearing your advice!

It is difficult to answer your question without being able to see your little daughter. While she does not appear to be ill this may just be due to the effects of the Panado and Ponstan you are giving her. I am concerned about her fever lasting so long. I would like to be sure that she does not have an ear infection. It would be best to take her back to see the doctor.
