Q.

Fever etc......

Our daughter is 10 y old. 2 Months ago she was hopitalized. The docters thaught it was Kawasaki, at the end it was not that. After 2 months we still dont know what is going on. They have no answers for us what is wrong. This is her symptoms at present and for the last 2 weeks. Again the docters have no answers:
Fever
Swollen eyes (looks like an asian)
abdominal pains
Tiredness
Swollen glands in neck area, sometimes on the head
Headaches
Some personal information. She is a very active child good eating habbits. She has been very healthy up till now. Please could you come back to us as soon as possible. We live in Mosselbay, Western Cape.

Your daughter appears to have a kidney condition called acute glomerulo-nephritis. Have they tested your daughter's urine and taken her blood pressure? Please see Dr A Swart [ paediatrician] in George as soon as possible. It is essential to make a proper diagnosis.
