Q.

FEVER BLISTERS

My 2yr old baby has sores on the tongue and on the lips, she has''nt eaten for 4 days now, she is also battling to drink fluids now, ive been to the doctor, gotten things at the chemist as well, but nothing sems to help. Should i just ask a doctor to hospitalise her so she can be on a drip, or what do i do, pls help.

This is an illness called herpes stomatitis.Your little girl is in danger of becoming dehydrated as he is not eating or drinking. She should be admitted to hospital for feeding by intravenous drip. This illness usually takes at least 10 days to heal up.
