Q.

Fever

What is considered a higher than normal fever? At what point should I start giving medication for the fever?

My daughter is 2 years old, and she has had a temp of 37.5 consistently for approximately a week now. We havent given anything as yet, and she is showing absolutely no signs of anything out of the norm, in fact she''s happier than ever.

37.5 is still considered to be a normal temperature for a child of 2 years. As you say your little girl appears to be well and is quite happy. If her temperature is 38 degrees or more then she has a fever.
