Q.

Fever

Dear Doc

When is it advisable to consult a doctor when a baby has fever? One does not want to run to the doctor with every little issue - is there a maximum temperature / period of time that can be used as a guidline before consulting a doctor?

Also, what home remedies are available to help bring down a fever?

Kind regards and thank you.

Your baby's temperature should go above 38 degrees before you need to know what is causing the fever.Panado or Calpol are safe remedies to lower fever for your baby.
