fever

My little girl had a fever saturday night (2 years old). The fever was 39deg. I gave her empaped and a couple of hours later ponstel. Nothing else was wrong exept the fever. And on sunday she was better again. I cought her drinking water from the dogs bowl. Can that be the reason for the fever? And is it save for her to drink the dogs water?

It is certainly not a good idea for your daughter to drink water from the dog's bowl. She may well pick up a viral or other form of illness from this water. She may have had a viral illness now as her fever was very high, but only lasted for a short period.
