Feels no pain

Dear Doc

I think my son has a very high pain threshold - as in he feels very little to no pain. Recently he broke his arm (both the ulna and radius) and he only cried for a few seconds. He never had any pain meds - even when they straightened his bones he said ouch - but that' s it. Yesterday he went for a circumcision and to date he has had no pain. His penis is tender. When I put the bactroban on he said it was sore-ish. I was really surprised because many moms warned me that it was very painful for their sons.

Is this normal and anything that I should worry about at all? He is now 6 and is 110cm tall and weighs 18.7 kgs and apart from ear problems, he is very healthy.

Thank you

As you say your son is well and happy. Also as you correctly say he has a high pain threshold. There is no need for concern.
