feeding guide

hi Dr

My son has just turned 9 months and i realy need some help on whether i am feeding him enough. his weight is 10.3 kg.

he eats as follows,
wakes at 7 am but only to play and sleeps after 30 min or so,
9 am cereal -nestum or cerelac - can i try him on weetbix ?

in between bottle or yoghurt

1pm -lunch butternut/sweet potato/pumpkin depending on what he wanted to eat or sometimes cereal again if he didn''t want to eat.

in between - bottle and yoghurt

5/6pm supper- butternut/sweet potato/pumpkin -

maybe yhoghut after 7and/or bottle
I would like to introduce more variety like meat but am concerned about salt and oils.
my worry is the fact that he will not eat food that is bland, i have so fatr have been using purity''s gravy and soup mixes to add flavour- which spices are safe to add to his food and what do i need to add to his diet ?

The average weight for a baby boy of 9 months is 9kg. You baby is doing very well indeed and his diet is good.Do not add any spices or salt to his food. He certainly can eat chicken or lamb for babies now. Wait until he is 12 months before giving him Weetbix.
