Good day

Baby, 16 months old has a fat gland at the ' V'  of her throat. GP said it would go away by itself. I was told it' s a fat glad by the same GP. It is not however going away. I swear it has grown a tiny bit larger. Is it harmful in any way?? Should it be removed??/

There is no such thing as a fat gland which occurs in the necks in children. It is absolutely essential to find out what is causing this swelling in your baby's neck. It may be an enlarged thyroid gland or some other problem. Please see a paediatrician.
