Faintign spells in child

hi
my son is 8yrs old and lately he has bene complaining abt feeling week. he says when he gets up he feels dizzy and falls down, he says he has also jst fallen down on a number of occassion but unfortunately i hv not personally witnessd this, neither has any adult . inittialy i thot maybe it was low blood pressure and advised him to not get up too quiclky and stop runnign around the house. i also took him to the doctor and he did " aneamia"  tests (well they tested his blodd for something i dont knwo what) and it all came out negative. the problem still persists. what could it be coz now it seems to be gettign worse. he comes home and just wants to sleep.

Paediatrician

I am also worried about your son. It is very unusual for an 8 year old boy to be so tired. I presume that the blood tests were done to see if your son is anaemic, but these tests need to be expanded to include other tests. The best approach would be to take him to see your paediatrician as your son really needs to be examined very carefully and a definite diagnosis made to explain his present symptoms.
