Q.

Eyes

Good day

My son is soon to be three, he seems to be blinking a lot more than usual since Friday last week. It looks as if they are bothering him either scratchy or dry. Obvisoulsy with a three year old he cannot quite tell how it feels. He does do swimming lessons twice a week and an i have recently been using the Akorn kids bath products, could this be it or is there some other underlying problem. His eyes are not red at all and look normal.

it could well be the chlorine water at his swimming lessons or the usually alkaline bath product that is irritating his eyes. Bathe his eyes using a dilute salt solution [a quarter teaspoon of salt in a cup of boiled and cooled water] Wipe his eyes from his nose side outwards using cotton wool swabs.Do this twice daily. Stop the bath product.
