Q.

Eyes

Hi Doc
My L G is 3 years old and have a problem with her eyes they always red and ichy sometime in the morning they are swollen and white stuff stuck in there i' ve been to 3 optometrist already they give onintments but they not improving, she had this problem since Feb 2009, been to GP who said is just infection it will clear but still the same. What can you suggest?

This is an eye allergy problem known as allergic conjunctivitis. Your little girl should be seen by a paediatric allergist. There are experts in all the main centres in SA.In the meantime you can use Alomide eye drops twice a day.
