Q.

Eczema - allergy

My boy is 4 and a half months old and has had really dry skin all over his body for quite some time now. The sister at the clinic said i should only bath him in aqueous cream with no scent - which i have been doing and there is no improvement. He was at the dr a week ago for an ear and chest infection and the dr mentioned that he had mild eczema and that it could be that he is allergic to " something"  and we should keep an eye on it, i wasn''t paying much attention because i was more worried about the cough. What could he be allergic too that would cause this? I am too embarrassed to call and ask him again. And what can i do to make it better?

Your baby boy does appear to have eczema. he may be allrgic to cow's milk which s the most common allergen at this age. if he is formula fed you can try him on NAN HA and see if this helps. When you bath your baby do not use any baby soaps or oils. use Epizone E instead of soap when bathing him. After the bath apply Epimax JUNIOR cream to all the dry areas of his face and body.

My boy 18months also had it and it got worst.
I only took him for bloodtest 2 months ago and it turned out he''s allergic to dogs (which he will luckily outgrow).
The doctor prescribed and Anti - histamaine which helps allergies. Then also did the Aqua cream thing. No colour or scented soaps, bubble baths cream etc. And it''s all gone

MAybe check if you don''t get something natural agains allergies, like the A Vogel or Natura brands?
