You are correct,Elocon is too strong to use on a one year old's eczema rash. Bepanthen is very effective for use with nappy rashes, but not for eczema. You should just use a moisturiser to treat your baby's eczema such a Epimax junior. It works best if applied after bathing your baby.If his rash ever starts to worry him then apply a very safe cortisone ointment such as Mylocort ointment once daily for 3 to 4 days.
