Hi doc! I tried opening the answer but to no avail. Please can you answer the below question for me again. I couldn''''t access your answer. What cream can I use for my 13 month old daughter if the epimax is not clearing her eczema. The eczema is on her cheeks, arms &  legs. How long do these creams usually take to clear the eczema. Also what does eczema look like. Her rash resembles tiny white pimples. Would you classify this as eczema. Apologies for the inconvenience. Many thanx!

You are correct your baby's rash does not sound at all like eczema although the distribution of her rash is similar to eczema.Eczema is usually a red, raw and itchy rash mainly on the cheeks and in the folds of the arms at the elbows and behind the knees. In fact your baby's rash sounds like a viral infection of the skin called 'molluscum'. You can look up pictures of the molluscum rash on Google and see if your baby's rash is similar. I wondered why Epimax did not help at all. What is necesssary here is a definite diagnosis of your bay's skin rash. Please ask a dermatologist to see her.
