Hi Doc,

I have read the questions on Atopic Eczema. It seems my 20mnth old has the same thing. He still has the cradle cap/dandruff(unsure), even his ear lobes at the bottom were starting to cut &  itch, back of neck, rash on cheeks etc.

I am using Johnsons baby soap on him. I use the Elizabeth Annes Special baby Shampoo on his hair. His doc has aked me to use a mixture of Diprosone &  aqueous cream sparingly on the affected areas. I also use Nutraderm to moisturise him.
Are theses products what I should be using? Will all of this eventually go away as he grows?

Thanks Doc.

Your son does not appear to have eczema, he seems to have seborrhoea which is often mistaken for eczema. Do not use Johnson's baby soap, only use Epizone E instead of this soap. Stop using Diprosone which is a stong cortisone ointment and only use Mylocort once a day when needed to clear the rash. Moisten his skin with Epimax after bathing him in luke warm water, his bath water must not be too hot.
