Eating well?

My 19 month old is normally a very good eater, the past week he has been refusing to eat (all 3 meals), he ain''t teething... He''ll only eat yogourts, desserts, goodies...nice things in a nutshell, but no food.

he is a bit constipated...

how should I handle this, leave him and he''ll eventually start eating again...stop the goodies when he does not eat his food...or just give him what he will eat?

I do not have to tell you that puddings and other goodies are not really the proper diet for your son and will actually make his constipation worse. Try to find out if something is worrying him. He may be getting his molar teeth now.Do not try to force him to eat but offer him foods that you know he usually likes and even if he eats small amounts at least he will be eating some good and healthy food.He can drink dilute fruit juice once a day and try to get him to drink water as well to help with his constipation.
