Q.

Eating 1 year old

Hi Dr. My 1 year old had a good appetite. She used to finish a 3rd foods purity and a yogurt in a meal. Last week she had baby measles and ever since we are really struggling with her to get her to eat. She doesn''t even have half the purity. She is also not into her milk. She have in total about 600 ml of milk in the day and then about 300 water and tea. She doesn''t look sick and is very busy. Should I give her a multivitamin of some kind? What can I do to increase her appetite? Should I just relax and know she will eat when she is hungry? PLease help me as this is making me worry

Children of this age in particular often do not eat for a while after they have been ill. It will take a few days before your baby girl starts to feel well enough to begin eating normally again. She is already looking better and is very busy. She does not need a multivitamin. She will start eating when she is ready.
