Q.

Ears

Hi

My son is 11 months old. he always loved being turned upside down now he gets so scared, a cant even lean to the side with him then he hangs on for dear life. could it be his ears or what?

He also has had middle ear infection twice and now he keeps sticking his finger in his ears and pulling on them.

Thanks

It is possible that your baby still has an ear infection or possibly has fluid in his middle ears behinnd his eardrums as a result of his previous ear infections. This is known as 'glue ears'.As he is always pulling on his ears and has had two previous infections it would be best to have his ears checked by his doctor.
It would be best not to try to turn him upside down now as he seems to be frightened of this or it is making him feel uncomfortable.
