My daugther is now 20 months, she had a little bit of a cold, about a week ago, which also causes her left ear to get rid of a lot of ear wax, it is much better now, there is only wax outside her ear when she lies down (but just a little bit) but it smells horrible, we had gromits done about a year ago, and when I t took her to the pharmacist he could not pick up any inflamation in the ear, and could not see the gromit because of all eth wax in the ear, but did say that he thinks that the gromit is still there and is obviously doing the " job" , of getting rid of teh excess wax, otherwise she would have had an ear infection.
I want to know what must I do with the bad smell, is there any drops that i can give her

The fact that your little girl's ear discharge smells bad probably means that this is due to an ear infection. It is possible that the grommets have fallen out quite a while ago and she may have a perforated ear drum with infected mucous discharging through a small hole in the ear drum. She should be seen by the ENT surgeon who put her grommets in last year.
