ear infections

Good day!
My 27month old, has had 3 ear infections this year already, last time was about 3wks ago, when doc prescribed antibiotics and mentioned that we monitor and see if he gets it another 2-3 times this year, we should consider grommets. Now the little guy is so sick at the moment, fever up and down. I''m giving him, mucuspect for the cough, coryx for the runny nose as well as ponstal for the fever when needed. I suspect its his ear again, cos when i rub " soet olie"  with cotton wool in his ear, you can see the instant relieve, less nagging. What would you suggest i do. I''ve heard that he cannot get antibiotic so soon again, so do i still take to doc? he''s also on creche guard in the morning and zinplex at night.

It is certainly time for your little boy is seen by an ENT specialist. It is very likely that he will need grommets. He should also be examined for possible enlarged adenoids which may need removal at the same time as the grommets.Your son should be seen by the ENT as soon as possible.
