You should keep your bay's ears as dry as possible by using an ear bud to mop up the discharge twice daily. Do not push the earbud very far into her ear. The discharge is caused by a small hole which has developed in your baby's eardrum as a result of a recent ear infection. The mucous from her middle ear is now discharging through this small hole. She should be seen by an ENT specialist.
