Q.

Ear ache

My son is 2 and has had a cronic ear ache all afternoon. I gave him 5 ml of Stopayne at 13:30. It is now 17:10 - what else can I give him as he is really battling?

Paediatrician

If his ear ache is so severe that Stopayne does not help, he needs to be seen by a doctor ASAP and probably treated using an antibiotic.

Just in case the doc does not answer tonight - I find that Lotem or Myprodol syprup really helps for bad earache - stopayne is not very good for earache (in my experience).

Good luck
