Q.

Dummy trouble

My daughter is 2 years and 7 months old and refuses to go to sleep without her dummy. She is in a creche and the dummy stays at home, but as soon as I fetch her from creche and we get in the car, she starts crying after the dummy. Is this really so bad?

No it is not so bad at all. Just don't make a fuss about her still wanting her dummy. Let her have it and you will find after a time she will simply guive it up by herself.Make sure that you brush her teeth well every day.

My 2yr old was exactly the same. As she was biting the dummy it was broken at the bottom of the teat so i cut the teat off completely, she noticed it was broken and everytime she wanted it she just said it' s broken and did not bother anymore. It must sound cruel but it worked!
