Q.

Dry patches

Hi Doc

My 3 yr old son just recovered from measels few weeks ago (and was given a shot), but now he is growing some dry patches all over his legs and hands. Do I still need to take him back to the doctor or is there something I can apply on him?

He doesn''t seem to be concerned about them, but I am...

Please help.

It is difficult for me to be certain about your child's rash without being able to see him. This sounds like a mild form of eczema. Try using Epimax cream on the dry patches especially after you have bathed him and see if they clear up. If they do not clear up it would be best to ask your doctor to see your son again.
