Q.

Drooling

Hi

My son is 1,4months ,he still wears bibs bcause he drools a lot making his chest wet. He has a mounth full of teeth as well so i dont understand. i Googled this but it said maybe he might have a speech problem but he can say mama and hello and other words, so i dont think its a speech problem. i just want to find out will the drooling ever stop.And what might be the problem.

Drooling is very common with babies especially when they are teething.It is not unusual for drooling to occur at 14 months and continue to about 16 to 18 months. If your son is still drooling excessively beyond 16 months it would be a good idea to ask your paediatrician to see him.
