Q.

Down Syndrome

I have a 7week baby girl. How &  when does one detect down syndrome? How do I know if she is down syndrome?

There are many characteristic features of Down's syndrome.You may be worrying and your baby does not have this syndrome.The diagnosis really needs to be and should be made by a paediatrician. If you suspect that your baby girl has Downs syndrome it would really be best to take her to see a paediatrician ASAP.

They would have told you at birth - DS babies have very distinct physical characteristics. What makes you think that your baby has DS?
