Dont want to drink medicine

My 3 year old refuses to drink his antibiotics!! He''s been running a fever since Tuesday last week, stopped on Sunday. Dr diagnosed tonsilitis. We give it to him with a syringe but then he just throws it back out. He''s also got a blocked nose and battle to sleep at night, I''m using Sterimar and a humidifier at night.

Will he get better without the meds?

You are giving the antibiotic to your son in the correct way, yet he keeps on spitting it out or vomiting it up.You seem to be fighting a losing battle in trying to give your son this antibiotic. He is getting better by himself and his fever has disappeared for the past 2 days. He appears to have a bad cold and this is usually caused by a virus infection. Antibiotics do not help for virus infections. Keep on with Sterimar nasal spray twice a day and the humidifier is a good idea at night.
