dont like milk

9 months old boy weight 8 kg however he does not like milk. he eats well ( white, brown soft porridge, all sorts of purities, nestums
). enjoys drinking a lot of water than milk . he drinks 400 ml per day of milk. he seems to be small in stature as compare to his peers. shud i be worried or relax. how to do to make sure that he gets enough required nutrients, iron, calcium and good immune system.

The average weight for a baby boy of 9 months is almost 9kg, so your baby son's weight is well below this expected weight. Water will not give him any nutrition and he needs to be drinking his milk at this stage. His present intake of 400ml per day is too low.He needs almost 3 times that amount. Try him on a formula which may suit his taste more such as NAN Pelargon. This will also provide him with all the nutrients he requires.Always give him his formula first and don't let him see his other food until he has had his bottle of formula.
