hi doc
my 4yr old daughter she sometimes has a white discharge on her private part its not smelly and has burns like when u put a nappy on a baby for a long time and 4get to change it the baby gets burns from the heat in the nappy thats what she gets but shes does not wear nappies when she urinate i make sure i wipe her,cause i think wen she urinates the drops of the urin falls on her panties then she gets burns from that but thats what i think can it be serious Doc wat can i do please help...

This discharge may be normal or may be due to a candida infection. It would be a good idea to give her a probiotic such a Probiflora Childrens 1 tablet a day for 10 days. Apply Nystatin cream to her vagina area at least twice daily for 7 days. If she does not get better she should be seen by a doctor or clinic nurse.
