It is possible for children of this age to have a very slight vaginal discharge, but in most cases the discharge is caused by a candida infection. This is especially the case if she has recently had an antibiotic. Try giving her Nystatin oral drops 1ml given into her mouth 4 times a day. Also give her a probiotic such as Probiflora for children once daily for 10 days.Apply Nystatin cream twice day to the area around her vagina.
