You do not need to have your son's stool examined by the lab as you know that he has worms. These worms sound like threadworms. If your son is over 12 months old then you can give him Vermox Syrup 5ml twice a day for 3 days.Repeat the course of Vermox after 3 months and then once eevry six months until he is 3 years old.

My son is 2 and has been hospitalised at least 10 times. He has had splenomegaly, an enlarged liver with avtive enzymes, repetitive otits media, bronchiolitis and pnuemonia. His gland are always swollen. He has seen a Paediatric gastroenterologist, he has been tested foe lymphoma and luekaemia. He has had immunoglubulin tests done and we still do not know why he keeps getting so sick. He has antibodies to both EBV &  CMV. He is on an antihistamine, takes Zinplex, Ferrimed , flixotide, venteze and singulair. He is small for his size and only weigh 11kg.Please advie me where to go from here. I think our Paediatrician is wonderful, but even she does not know what else to do. Help me get my boy better......please I' m desperate!
