Q.

different milk formula

My 10 month old is recovering from diarreah. He was drinking Nan 2 before. I' ve been giving him Nan lactose free as it has been helping bind his stool. His stool test show he is NOT lactose intolerant. Nan lactose free is very expensive. I want to change to a normal milk fomula, What is the difference between Nestle Lactogen and Nan 2 as well as S26 formula? Please advise which to give. Thank you

The NAN" and S26 formulas are similar and are so-called 'humanised formulas' where there has been an attempt to produce a formula close to the composition of breast milk as possible. Lactogen is an older formula which now has added prebiotics and is good for rather hungry babies and babies who suffer from constipation.
