Q.

Diarrhoea

Good Day Prof.
My 3.5 year old has had diarrhoea for the last 2 days.
She passes waterery stools 3-4 times a day but doesnt seem to bother her. she says she has no pain anywhere.
she refuses to drink rehdrate, hydrol and restore so have been giving her diluted coke and ice lollies to keep her hydrated. she also refuses to eat anything (even the BRAT diet). At what stage should i take her to GP? how long should this last?

It seems that your little girl has quite a bad gastro infection. Unfortunately she is refusing to take any of the electrolyte solutions so may become dehydrated and also she may lose too much in the way of her body salts. If she still has diarrhoea tomorrow she should be seen by your doctor.
